Christmas is going to be here very soon but rather than having the carpets and upholstery cleaned ready for the big celebration, maybe waiting until it's all over would be a better way to go.
Mark Suttle, who runs Ryans Carpet Cleaning with partner Tracey Bird, said January was a good time to have the big clean up, ready for the year ahead and all it had in store.
``We offer steam or dry cleaning, depending on the client's needs, and as we have all the latest equipment the service is fast and efficient," Mr Suttle said.
``We say to people that supermarkets sell food and we clean carpets as we believe it is far better to have a professional service, no matter what it is, than try to deal with it yourself."
Mr Suttle said that by having carpets, dining chairs, lounge suites and other upholstery professionally cleaned at least once a year - more often if there was a lot of wear or traffic - the life of the fabric or carpet was prolonged.
With four trucks constantly on the road, Ryans Carpet Cleaning looks after clients between Helensburgh and Gerroa.
